Equine Discussion Group

The sun is SHINING and there is a hint that we will have some warm weather heading our way.....what a relief after the weather that periled some of us this past weekend and early week.

Unfortunately, the weather created a postponemet of the senate meeting that was scheduled for today to support the PAST act.  This is an act to support the non-soring issues that have plagued the Tennessee Walking Horse for years. We had a pretty good constituent of people going to support the horse.  Maybe the postponement will allow even more to attend.

Also, if you are so inclined, please write your senator to let them know that you are in support of S-1406 PAST act.

YOU ARE invited to attend my Equine Discussion Group this weekend, March 8.  The group discussion starts at 10 a.m. at Friendly Horseman's Club in Denver, PA.  Many horse related topics will be discussed....the MAIN presentation this weekend will be Jim Helfter from Advanced Biological Concepts speaking to us.....via cyber space.....on GMO's (genetically modified foods).   He will explain how they are affecting our horses health, what we can do to help our horses avoid at the best and deal with in their system to stay healthier and have more longevity and productivity.

Thank you to so many who have sent feedback from the PA Horse World Expo what you learned and the ideas that you are going to add to your "horse time".  Thank you!

VERY exciting.

PA Horse World Expo

What a wonderful experience of visiting and sharing of information with other well intentioned horse lovers this past four days at the PA Horse World Expo.

Thank you to all of you who came to the clinics and then visited us at the Back To Basics Equine Awareness booth to let us know the ideas and exercises that you were excited to get home to your horses to introduce to them.  I would love to hear how it goes....please write!!!!

My team of ladies and I thank you for letting us balance you in the saddles in our booth.  Again, if you have any questions when you are revisiting these ideas and awarenesses when you ride....please write or call.

Thank you to all of those who helped make this experience possible.....my booth workers, those who took part in the clinics, the panel for discussion sessions.

Thank you to the PPWHA for your support.

Here's hoping the weather shifts to the point that we are able to spend more quality time with our horses.
